Happy New Year! 2012 has arrived, quicker than we could’ve imagined, but we all know everyone likes to start off the New Year organized and ready to go. With this in mind, we thought a cute way to make it happen would be creating your own calendar! For your busy schedule, a calendar is the perfect way to keep it all organized in one place. We hope a few of these ideas we’ve collected from fellow bloggers inspires you to create your own masterpiece, so keep reading to find a few of our favorites!

We absolutely adore this idea, which can be completely customized with colors and patterns. There’s no way to go wrong with this calendar, and it’d make a great gift for a friend or family member!

Another modern-chic calendar design that we happen to love comes from Nina and Stylizimo. This metro style may take a blank wall and a couple buckets of paint, but you’ll be able to use it forever and constantly make changes! Check out her blog post on creating it here. We think it looks great the way she paired it against a star white wall with classic black/white decor. This is the perfect addition to a modern room in need of a little organization!

If the wall calendar just doesn’t strike your fancy, no worries– we found an adorable desk calendar that’s whimsical looks are sure to brighten up any office! Thanks to Danielle from Willow Tree Crafts for sharing this unique calendar idea, and the templates she used to make hers! This scrapbook theme makes it the perfect craft for all the artsy moms. We also love the idea of giving this one as a gift to a friend! They’ll appreciate that you made it yourself, and it’ll always be put to good use!
