A “Big-Girl” Bed for Jordyn Elyse

A few weeks ago, we connected with the Martinis or Diaper Genies? blog in her annual WANA series, delivering Christmas miracles to familes across the nation. There we met Jordyn Elyse's mom who wrote to MODG in hopes of a "big-girl" bed for her daughter:

My daughter, Jordyn Elyse, wants a big girl bed. She has a convertible crib, that I can use part for a full size headboard, but I cannot afford the full size frame, boxspring and mattress. Even if you have used ones in good condition, I would take it (I am SO not above hand-me-downs).

She was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and has all three surgeries to repair it. I want to make her as happy as possible, and she is my blessing and my miracle! Her fb page is www.facebook.com/jordynelyse. Even if you can’t help, all prayers are appreciated!

After looking at Jordyn's facebook page, we fell in love with her bubbly spirit and heartwarming smile, and were able to offer Jordyn's mom about a new McKenzie Hardwood Study Loft Bed for her daughter. Our hearts melted to see Jordyn's reaction when she recieved her Christmas wish, and we'd like to share the video with you here:

We're extremely grateful to have had the chance to brighten up Jordyn's holiday season this year, and wish you all Happy Holidays as well!
